HOME SERVICES MANAGER

Family Carers Ireland (FCI) is _the _national charity supporting over

the country who dedicate their lives to caring for loved ones such as
children or adults with physical or intellectual disabilities, frail
older people, those with palliative care needs or those living with
chronic illnesses or addiction. We provide a range of supports and
services for family carers nationally from our local support centres.

The Home Services Manager will report to the National Lead for Home
Support Services. The Home Services Manager (HSM) will lead the
delivery and development of all Home Support Services (HSS) in the
designated area in accordance with the policies of Family Carers
Ireland (FCI), ensuring the safety of the cared for persons and the
Organisation’s staff at all times. The Home Services Manager (HSM)
is expected to increase FCI’s share of home support hours delivered
in their designated area. The Home Services Manager (HSM) will work
closely within a nationwide network of other Home Service Managers
(HSM) and support national initiatives where appropriate.
ROLE CRITERIA:
The Home Services Manager (HSM) must possess the following
qualifications, skills and experience;
* Health & Social Care qualification is essential.
* Management in a healthcare or homecare setting desirable.
* Experience in managing a diverse workload and reporting to
internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience/qualification in working with diverse groups of people.
* Fluent in the English language.
* Strong people management skills, with an ability to work well with
others.
* Strong administrative skills are essential tied with an ability to
manage set budgets and ensure a smooth delivery of supports throughout
the designated area.
* Be an excellent communicator, flexible in attitude and approach to
the job.
* A willingness to learn and a desire to implement a culture of
continuous improvement within their team.
* A willingness to help out other colleagues.
* A strong work ethic is essential. Willingness to travel and do
some evening work when required.
* Full drivers’ licence with access to transport.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
PERMANENT, FULL-TIME ROLE ( * hours per week –
Monday to Friday). Area 1 maps on to HSE CHO 1 area. The successful
candidate will be based from either our Sligo office or Killnaleck, Co
Cavan office - whichever location the successful candidates’ home is
near.
The remuneration for this role includes an annual salary of €**Apply
